Dwelling Slowly /
Dwelling Slowly is a residential interior in Taipei shaped by time, everyday traces, and personal collections. Rather than presenting a home as a completed design, the space leaves room for life to gradually take part in its formation, allowing furniture, art, and everyday objects to develop their own rhythm within the interior.
A home is not defined at the moment the design is completed, but gradually shaped through the act of living. Furniture, lighting, rugs, artworks, and everyday objects slowly find their place, accompanying moments of reading, listening to music, sharing meals, and quiet pauses. Objects from different periods and materials coexist within a restrained palette, allowing personal collections to become part of everyday life rather than objects placed on display.
Afternoon light filters through the curtains while evening lamps gradually illuminate the space. An unfinished glass of wine, a record playing in the background, or a familiar film becomes part of the subtle traces of daily life. The space does not seek to remain perfectly composed; instead, it evolves through use, gathering, and everyday moments, gradually developing a rhythm and character that belongs to its residents.
